Safety note
-mind the unmarked rock on the N side of the passage in the middle of Proversa harbour bay and the reef marked with a pole SW of the rock
-sail the passage diagonally using the two pairs of white stone pyramids with vertical black stripes on Kornat E and W of the passage (this route takes you through the deepest part of the passage)
-when the wind changes the current increases to between 3 and 4 knots (during S winds the current changes almost every 15 minutes)
-it is dangerous to go through the passage at a speed under 3 knots
Approach
-hidden passage between Katina and Kornat islands -lighthouse on Ćuška Point, the little islands of Gornja Aba and Veli Buč and the white pyramid on the coast of Kornat (N side of the passage) -lighthouses on Sestrica Vela islet and Vidilica Point (Dugi Otok) and Aba Vela island (S side of hte passage)
