Description

Beautiful, scenic, fjord-like bay. In strong southerly winds, such as the Jugo, there are dangerous swells. Due to the wind, the tidal range in the bay can be 1.5 meters or more.

-in the inner section fo the bay, from Salamuščić (along the centre of the W shore) it is shallow, while the base of the bay is boggy
-during strong jugo currents may reach a speed of 1.5 knots
-strong daily jugo raises the sea level at the end of the bay

-lighthouse at the E entrance, stone pyramid on the opposite shore of the entrance of the bay
