On the east side of the island of Lošinj in the Kvarner Bay lays a small coastal village located at the foot of the mountain train Osorscica - Nerezine. The location is an ideal starting point if one wants to go on a cruise in the channel Kavada that separates the islands Cres and Lošinj. The local bridge connection is opened every day from 09 to 17 o’clock.

uth of the local port) the construction of a large marina with 200 water berths is planned since 2009. These plans are, due to the protests of a citizens' initiative, on ice and it is not known if and when the construction of the marina will be realized. Currently there are no seats available in general. But particularly interesting is the end of the pier. Here an old ship wreck serves as a breakwater.
Those who still want to moor in Nerezine - in the municipal harbor are a few moorings with electricity and water available.
A fairly modern gas station is a little further to the north of Nerezine.
Shopping in Nerezine The Nerezine offers adequate supply options. Directy at the local port is a supermarket in a shopping center and a bakery, butcher shop, fruit and vegetable market in town complete the offer. Freshly caught fish every morning can be obtained directly from the local fishing boats. Food and Leisure in Nerezine Even on the culinary side this place has a lot to offer. In addition to several restaurants and taverns, which serve mainly the Croatian and Mediterranean cuisine, there is also a pizzeria and several café bars that invite you to linger on around Lošinj Island.
The bell tower of the Franciscan monastery from the 15th Century overlooks the town and is one of many other historical sites and places Nerezine has to offer. For sport lovers and several leisure facilities are available around the resort and the beach. Those having a lot of spare time can enjoy an approximately 5 hour hike to the summit of the mountain Televrina with breathtaking views of the islands in Kvarner Bay.
