The Baotic Marina (Marina Seget) is located in the district of Seget Donji in Central Dalmatia and borders on the village of Trogir. It was completed in 2009 and belongs to Baotic, a German-Croatian company, which also runs a charter management company. The owners of this company and the good accessibility to Split Airport, which is only 10 km away, have contributed to establishing Baotic Marina a...
s a charter home port. Consequently, there is a lot of hustle and bustle, especially at the weekends. The narrow channel between Trogir and the island of Čiovo can cause jet effects and a strong current, which can make mooring and casting off somewhat more difficult. Baotic Marina is open all year round and has 100 spacious berths, all with electricity and water, as well as an additional 100 dry berths. The berths in the eastern part of the harbour are mainly reserved for permanent berth holders and charter yachts, whereas the berths in the western part are available for visiting yachts.
The sanitary area is in the large main building and has well-kept showers and WCs. There is a large number of parking spaces right in front of the land entrance to the marina. 2015 a new fuel station in Baotic Marina has opened.
Shopping in Seget Donji/Trogir The Baotic Marina has a restaurant and a small chandlery. Not far from the marina is a supermarket that you can get to in approx. 10 minutes. For larger provisions, take the water taxi from the marina to the historic centre of Trogir, where there are many shopping amenities as well as a daily fresh fruit and vegetable market.
Food and leisure in Seget Donji/Trogir The marina restaurant has cosy seating as well as its own outdoor pool. There are another two restaurants in the centre of Seget Donji. For alternatives, the many restaurants, konobas and café-bars in the centre of Trogir serve a large selection of dishes. It will not take long to explore the district of Seget Donji and there are not that many places of interest. The historic centre of Trogir is much prettier. It was founded in the 2nd century BC and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
