Description

Makarska is a lively seaside resort. In 2015 a 225 m long breakwater was completed, which protects against wind and waves from south- and southwestern directions. Since then the quay offers sheltered berth for nearly all size of yachts. The berths in the west and the north-western ridge are often occupied by the boat club and ferries lay on the north side. Some swell is created by the ferries. Supermarkets and restaurants are right on the promenade and in the town. In the summer it can be often loud.
