Pučišća lies in a bay on the island Brač and is home to the stone-carving tradition. Both the largest quarry on the island and the only stone-masonry school in Europe are located here. In 2019, a new pier with mooring lines for yachts was completed on the southern part of the bank behind the harbor walls. There is now electricity and water. A toilet and shower are also available. The water depth here is up to 4 meters. Most yachts moor here.
The inner city quay in the western arm of the bay is mostly occupied by local boats. If there is room for guests, it is recommended to berth with an angle bow or stern to the quay. This is a precaution against stormy gusts of wind that come in at an angle from the front. In general, the port at Bora is not recommended. The north quay is reserved for excursion boats, which is why guests rarely get a place here.
The place Pučišća is a worth seeing, small place with various restaurants, bars and shops.
