ACI Marina Milna lies on the western coast of the island of Brač in Central Dalmatia, sheltered at the end of a long bay, directly opposite the town of the same name.
The approach to the bay is easy and well-lit. The church tower at the end of the bay serves as a navigational aid straight to the marina. It has often been awarded the Blue Flag for its good quality. However, the water in the ...
harbour area can at times be dirty and therefore can lead to odour nuisance.
ACI Marina Milna is open all year round and has 15 dry berths as well as 170 berths on the jetties, which have recently been renovated and have water and electricity. However, these berths tend to be filled by the afternoon. Yachts with a larger draught should try not to moor too closely to the waterfront when there is a thunderstorm as there can be an extremely low level of water in the bay.
The well-kept showers and toilets in the sanitary facilities were also renovated in 2009 and are of an excellent standard.
Parking spaces at ACI Marina Milna are located around the western end of the harbour basin. The fuel station is located approx. 500 m away on the south side of the bay. Shopping in Milna There are plenty of shops around the harbour basin where provisions can be bought. You will not only find several supermarkets here but also smaller food stores as well as a bakery, a butcher's shop and a small fruit and vegetable market.
Food and leisure in Milna ACI Marina Milna has a café-bar and a restaurant in its main building. The town of Milna, however, also has many good restaurants, taverns and cafés offering excellent alternatives. In particular the fish dishes, which are prepared traditionally, can be highly recommended.
It is definitely worth taking a long walk through the historic centre of Milna. Not only are there many baroque buildings, but the small church with its pretty altar pieces by the Venetian artist Titian is especially worth a visit. Visitors can explore the attractive area surrounding Milna on foot or by bicycle using the numerous hiking trails.
