Description

The jetty belongs to the Konoba Joseph in Polace, Mljet. The bay is the largest and the safest bay on the whole Island and very popular among sailors and yachtsman. The jetty has mooring lines. Water and power is also available. The speciality of Konoba Joseph in Polace is - besides fresh fish and seafood - the traditional Peka. This is a famous Dalmatian dish of vegetables and meat or seafood—lamb and octopus are favourites, ingredients are placed in a covered pan and roasted in the embers of an open fire. They offer a rich gastronomic variety, fresh fish, grilled lobster, pasta, home grown fruits and vegetables, healthy food and home produced olive oil and an homemade wine.
