ACI Marina Skradin lies on Krk river, with its fresh water, in north Dalmatia and is a part of the town harbour of the small fishing village of the same name. Being right at the entrance of Krka National Park, it is the last harbour just before the famous waterfalls and a trip there is a must.
The approach is from Šibenik through the impressive Krka fjord where there is a strict speed limit...
, which is controlled constantly. The entrance to ACI Marina Skradin is then marked by a red and green light signal and private ships are not allowed to sail past here.
Yachts up to 50 m long can be tied up with mooring lines at 153 berths, all with water and electricity. The marina, however, has no dry berths. Some additional moorings are available in front of the marina at the village quay. Anchoring is in fact not permitted in front of the village, but it is tolerated when the marina and the village quay are full. It is, however, not allowed close to the reed belt.
The sanitary facility at ACI Marina Skradin is in very good condition and well-kept, but because of the high number of visitors at the harbour, you will often have to expect longer waiting times.
There is a large car park in Skardin. The closest fuel station is located 8 nautical miles away in Šibenik.
Shopping in Skradin: There is a supermarket, a small food store, a bakery and a butcher's shop in Skradin and many small fruit and vegetable stalls along the harbour mole.
Food and leisure in Skradin: ACI Marina Skradin has a café, located right next to the sanitary building. Sometimes loud music may be heard until midnight from here in the harbour area. There are some good restaurants in the village and along the harbour mole, offering a large selection of dishes, not forgetting fresh river fish and eels.
One of the largest attractions of the surrounding area are undoubtedly the Krka waterfalls. They can be reached from the marina either by water taxi, which is included in the entrance fee, or on foot or by bike along the 8-km-long trail through the national park. The river plunges down 46 metres over 7 tiers, displaying a unique natural spectacle.
