Description

Navpaktos is a tiny harbor located on the northern part of the Golf of Corinth. There is not much space for yachts and several local yachts occupy most of the berth. The bottom is sand and mud. Be aware of a ledge approx. 1.5 m deep of the south quay. Go stern to the south walls with bow anchor or wherever is room. The depth is uneven. In summertime the harbor gets very full so it is unlikely to find a berth. On calm weather situation it is possible to anchor off the tower or beach west side of the entrance. Towards the castle wall and the beach it is very shallow. Of the beach the anchor is holding well in a sand ground.
