Pythagorion is a popular holiday resort to the west of Samos Marina on the island of Samos. Pythagorion Harbour is divided into an inner and outer harbour. In the inner harbour yachts moor stern-to at a water depth of up to 4 m. Watch out for shoals at the northern breakwater and on the SW side of the inner harbour. Alternatively, anchor in the outer harbour at a water depth of up to 6 m. Watch out for shoals here, too. Ferries dock at the southern jetty in the inner harbour. The jetty and the manoeuvring area have to be kept clear. The harbour is protected, but expect a swell when the wind blows from the north and from the ferries. A variety of taverns and shopping amenities are within walking distance.
