The harbor might not be a safe place with more than 25 knots of wind. Be aware of the sand dunes on the southeast side of your approach when entering the harbor. The mooring costs are very cheap: Depending on the length of the yacht you pay 2-4 Euro per night plus 3 Euro for electricity and 3 Euro for water. Adapter for power supply connection are available in the harbour master office.

Nettes Hafenstädtchen, jedoch auch schnell voll! Wasser und Strom zum Tanken bieten einen idealen Zwischenstopp. Die Restaurantansammlung lässt einen Massentourismusort vermuten, jedoch war Anfang Juni fast nichts los. Empfehlung auf jeden Fall!

Wenn der Hafen voll belegt ist, kann man auch an der Kaimauer vor dem Hafen anlegen. Man muss darauf achten, dass man viel Kette steckt und der Anker gut hält. Dann liegt man da auch recht sicher. Bei starken NO oder Ostwinden kann der Platz nicht mehr gehalten werden.

Der innere Teil des Hafens ist bei jeder Wetterlage sicher und ohne Schwell. Die äußeren Molenbereiche sollten aufgrund des Schwells bei starken Winden, insbesondere bei nördlichen Winden, gemieden werden. Sun Yachting Germany - SY Shalimar
